Some kids are super active. A bike ride, walk in the park, and crafting is just some things they love to do. Furthermore, it keeps their energy in check. They are fishing at a nearby lake tomorrow because it is their stepson’s last day before returning to Chicago. Moreover, everyone wants to give their kid an outdoor experience while spending Easter Break in West Virginia.
The outdoor air and the excitement of catching that first big trout will be a memory any kid will remember forever. The West Virginia Golden Trout is the most prized fish in these waters. While native to West Virginia, the Golden Trout is a prized catch among anglers.
Wouldn’t it be something for our eight-year-old to catch a West Virginia Golden Trout? It would be right up there with riding a bike without stabilizers for the first time. Similarly, catching a big trout would be akin to hitting that first goal into the back of the net during a school soccer game. However, if we do not catch anything, ice cream from Dairy Queen on the way home will be enough to take their mind off it. Wish us luck. We will need it.
